C. Bears other foot is heavily scarred by the steel jaw trap too
Bear had been caught in very large coyote, possibly wolf traps in Kentucky. He had laid there for days in the traps before he was rescued. His foot nearly had to be re-attached. The powerful steel jaws had broken the other leg too. Despite the incredible pain he has been through, Bear is a gentle, trusting dog.
